JB in place of base and head gaskets, worked great but need to do a ring job. Had no problem disassembling, the sledge worked great. Am going to us it for the cracks I found in the heads too! F**k the dam stealer.
One winter, just for something to do, I filed the cases and the heads down so I could run without base and head gaskets on a Iron-head sporty, little gasket sealer and it worked like a top, cheap way to raise the Compression. but I was young and dumb then and didn't know you could notdo that.[8D]
I saw this before...it is the pressure overflow from your gas tank. All you have to do is crack open the fuel cap and equalize the pressure and it will stop leaking.
The small charcol canister for gas tank venting maybe clogged now. Overfilled the tank, hot outisde, and on the sidestand. The pressure increased in the tank, gas then traveled through the vent line to the cansiter, canister then got clogged as soon as fuel hit it, fuel then had to go somewhere and in the wrong places like on the ground.
Your problem may happen again, because the canister in the vent line is probably clogged. Fill the tank while on the sidestand and if this happens again.....replace the canister. Also, if the bike is parked in the extreme hot again.....remove the gas cap, if the tank immediately depressurizes......replace the canister.
The canister is designed for vapors only and no liquids.

Don't know about other bikes, but the Ultra's overflow hole is in the filler pipe, and if I were to fill my tankwith the bike straight up, as soon as it was leaned over it would be running out the overflow. It would have nothing to do with pressure.
Even filling the tank properly, on the side stand, just the expansion of the cool gas going from an underground tank to one at above ground temps will cause it to overflow, if not driven within minutes.
nice! I did not know there was a canister...I saw one guy spewing fuel at a rally a few weeks ago and he was freaking outand an old timer told him to crack open his cap and it stopped immediately...I never got the full explanation of what failed! Good to know!
