Battery replacement
There are many threads about battery's here on the forum ... My last purchase was a "Big Crank" from Battery Mart ( https://www.batterymart.com/c-motorcycle-batteries.html ) ... Let the flaming begin :>)
The Harley batteries are made by Deka, and the only problem with a Harley battery is the jacked-up price. You can get a Deka battery from a lot of sources, the last bagger battery I bought came from Lowes. They are considerably less money.
Deka is manufactured by the East Penn Manufacturing Company. I believe the Big Crank that Uncle Larry recommended is also made by them. I've been running Big Cranks for the past three batteries. Good value and fast shipping. They go on sale often.
Never heard of poor reviews on the Harley batteries. Put enough in a tender when you are not riding for a couple of days, and you’ll get long life outta them. As a habit I replace batteries after 4 years. I just replaced my ‘17 limited with a Yuasa. Great specs, albeit not cheap..
oh yeah, don’t be afraid to use the search feature on this forum.

rk classic.
Most aftermarket batteries sold in the U.S. are made by three companies that build them for retailers: Johnson Controls, which supplies more than half of the market; Exide; and East Penn.
