Although there may be 3 or 4 manufacturers, there are plenty of different specs. That is often the difference. I spec my widget better than yours with better quality controls and my clients get better widgets than yours do but it costs me and my clients a little more.

As far as bad reviews if a Harley battery is concerned, here's a different take. My bike is an '08 FLHT with a touch over 140,000 miles on it. It's on the second battery, and it still works fine. I can leave the bike sit for weeks, and it still fires right up. I'd say two batteries in that many years, and that many miles, says the batteries were good deals. Yes, both the original and the replacement are Harley branded.

Yuasa, USA manufacturers their own Motorsport batteries at 2901 Montrose Ave, Laureldale, PA 19605. They are a subsidiary of Japans GS Yuasa, but the US subsidiary in PA has been producing motorcycle batteries since 1979.

Batteries plus warranty sucks
The problem with Batteries Plus is if it dies during warranty you have to take it off the bike and take it to the store and have the battery
charge on their charger for a day or two b/4 they will agree to give you a new one if they can't charge it back to normal voltage.

×2 on the deka etx30L, that's what I used on my 16 and it's what I'll use on my 20's when the time comes. Bike never cranked so good
