Well, bike model and year may help with solicitation of assistance. Throw in a bit of background such as why you changed the stator and rotor - burned up? Upgrade?

Id tell you view the wiring schematics at HD service portal and work your way backwards but your Ultima harness may or may not share the color codes.

as second post mentioned, background, year and model, which stator did u use, why did u change it. First guess u wired it wrong. second guess u pinched a wire. third guess bad stator or regulator............. good luck and welcome to the forum.

Doesn`t the kill switch stop the engine from even CRANKING ?
Doesn`t just kill the spark

The stator and V-R keep the battery supplied with voltage don`t see that interfering with supply to coil
Try to locate the coil feed wire leaving the IGNITION MODULE ?
