Yeah, as eighteight said, the stator and regulator won't affect the coil and spark at the plugs as long as the battery is strong enough to crank the engine over and maintain minimum voltage. If the battery is weak, it may still crank over but still not start if the battery current drops too much. If the battery is older, I'd have it load tested. And I'd likely charge it and see idf that makes any difference.
The title is "No Spark", but the description is about the stator and regulator. And you mention a basic carb with an Ultima harness. Again, I'm not making the connection with the carb and harness uinless the harness is connected to the ignition syatem / coil etc.
It sounds like you relpaced the stator and regulator, and now it won't start and has no spark at the plugs. So I'd go back to the work you just did and check for any loose connections or damaged wires etc.
So does the engine crank over, but not start? Or does it not even crank over? What other work has been done to the bike? Or is it all stock?
