Whats the difference between inner primary case 60677-07a and inner primary case 60677-07
I do not know. However, the outer primary cover for my bike has been updated to an A as well. I know this because I recently replaced it. The only difference is the oil deflectors are now cast into the design instead of plastic glued on parts.
I'm sure there is a change to the design of the inner cover. It could be minor but there is a change somewhere. Try looking at photos of both and compare them.

It could be hard to tell without a side by side comparision... they may in fact be the same...
Harley changes the letter of the suffix on a part number, for different reasons.
Sometimes it's a running production change that can be significant.
Sometimes it's a minor change
Sometimes the part doesn't change at all, it signifies a change in the part's vendor...
If the part #60677-07 no longer shows in the parts finder for your application, but the part #60677-07A shows instead, it's a superseded part #. That means they both fit the application, and the "07A" part is the new part number and the "07" part number is no longer in production....

thank you for replying I figured it was a discontinued part number that was replaced by the other simply cause i couldn't find new 60677-07 just used but had new 60677-07a all day.

if I was going to replace the inner cover I'd go with a chrome one unless you like the black one🤪
I believe the revision A for the outer primary cover is the one where they molded in the oil chute for the compensator and the regular -07 was the one without where you had to glue in the black piece from the SE comp kit. Not sure about the inner primary update.
As far as I can see no changes and thanks everyone for replying I love these forums but will have the new one soon so I will update the differences then.
