Default Limited throttle

I have a situation and I hope I’m in the right place. I Purchased 2011 Rd., King with 18 inch ape hangers and the wire in was a mess. I took the 18” and put on 10” paul yaffee bars I start it from the switches with new color match the wire. They had even cut the plugs out and hard wired it and I put the plugs back in as it should be. My problem now is at idle sitting in my garage I have full throttle when I ride down the road I’m limited. I can run 80 mile an hour But if I call on it there’s nothing there. Again when sitting in the garage idling it responds normally THEN I realized while sitting there I pull the front brake lever and throttle was limited again (like when riding down the road) release the break lever and it goes back to full throttle. then I realized When I come to a stop sign it responds as normal because the front brake lever is pulled. I had chased all the wiring verified what I did but obviously I have a problem in here somewhere I don’t know where to start. I have disconnected the wires for the brake light switch and it still does the same thing with it unhooked. I have looked at it for so long that I get cross side and just don’t know where to go now. Can anybody out here point me in the right direction and get me going again.
HUMM... while explaining this it hit me that it’s very possible that there could be a wire Making contact inside the switch housing causing a short ??

I guess everyone’s lost as I am with this problem. It’s a gremlin but I’m going to have to track down and hope I can do it without involving the dealer

You have some wires crossed in the handle bars i would think. I would go back and retrace every wire using the service manual. I know i had heard of others that got some wires backwards and had full throttle when the grip was in the idle position and idle at the wide open position. Good luck finding the problem.
