These bulbs are so much brighter than the OEM incandescent bulbs. Great price for what appears to be a quality product. BTW my 2021 SGS used 1157 bulbs front and rear. I purchased the amber for front and red for rear even though the incandescent rear bulbs were clear. They look great.

Update... stopped by the dealer and had them set the ECM to LED front and rear directionals. Same problem so if you use these bulbs on a 2021 SGS you would have to live with the hyper flash on the dash. Also the bulbs trigger a half dozen codes. I put the incandescent bulbs back and cleared the codes. I guess my only option is the CD or Harley LED's.... crazy.
1. Turn Ignition on, but do not start the bike.
2. Turn on 4 way hazards by pressing the hazard button on the
controls.
Turn Signal Sync Procedure
3. Turn the Ignition off letting hazards run. IF the bike has security they
will flash 5 or 6 times and then pause. This is normal. They will go
back to flashing normal hazard mode.
4. Let hazards run 1-2 minutes.
5. Turn Ignition back on.
6. Turn off hazards.
7. Turn Ignition off and then back on.
8. Check function of both turn signals
If this did not work did the dealer say if they changed something in the ecm? I've never seen this not work.
And why buy cheap lights? You spent how much for the bike why add cheap to it? CD costs more but you get a no nonsense lifetime warranty. Guy I know cheaped out. And when one of his cheap lights quits working. They did not just send him a new one. He had to mail the bad one back for them to see. Then send him a new one. CD. Send them a pic and the new one is on the way. Only cheap light ive seen work well. Is the Sunpie headlight. Cry once for everything else.

The dealer flashed the BCM changing the directional setting from incandescent to LED and no change.
It is not the money but I like the look of the stock lens with just a bulb in it. I really don't care about the halo ring etc just want a brighter bulb with stock look. The CD ProBeam is really nice and probably be where I end up. With their replacement lens it is close to stock look. That lifetime warranty is amazing.
Being stubborn I was able to return the Amazon cheapies that were suggested and bought a set of CanBus bulbs from superbrightleds who said they run at a higher resistance and should work. They have a full return policy including shipping so I bought them. If they don't work they will go back and CD ProBeam will be the one I think.
The flashing unit is designed to adapt to the LEDs... I no longer remember the procedure... But we must be able to find it: put the LEDs on, activate the turn signals, wait 15 seconds, switch off the ignition ,... It is in this spirit.
FYI... Well I tried a set of Canbus 1157 bulbs from SuperbrightLeds and they would not push all the way into the receptacle. Returned at no cost or shipping. So the bulb only replacement was a dead end.
I installed these 81 led lights from Benlari off Amazon. Looked great and good reviews.
They work perfectly with no hyper flash and do not throw codes once the BCM learns they are there. I used the original Harley lens but they come with new dark smoke lens as well. They look to me as good the more expensive options and work the same with the halo ring. Time will tell how long they last but I thought I would give them a try for $50 bucks. 6 month warranty.
In the long run a proven item from CD probably would have been the way to go but I was on a mission to maintain the clean look of the factory lens with just a bulb and this was as close as I could get. If they fail I may very well end up there.
A bit late to the show, but I found these to work well once they were fitted:
Alopee 1157 Amber
The aluminum ring at the bottom of the glass had just enough swell to prevent the bulb from seating fully. A few minutes with a hobby file took off enough material to fit and lock in place.
The result is having a light much brighter than stock while retaining an essentially stock appearance. Important with keeping the look of my Revival.
