I now have a similarly shaped screen on my '07.
(bought one for '14+ and drilled new mounting holes so it would fit the older fairing)
Wind is deflected around and over, eliminating wind directly tot he head.
Previous screen was the 6" flat version that's pretty popular, but the wind hit me square in the forehead and after riding for just an hour, my neck was sore all night.
The newer style screen works so well that even after an 11+ hour freeway ride, my neck didn't even notice.
Noticed you wear a full face helmet also.
If you can wear a ball cap with those shields.
Without it blowing off then Im sold.
hmmm......gives a rave review of windshield deflecting airstream, BUT wears a full face helmet with faceshield........hardly a glowing recommendation . but his neck doesn't get sore

I use the same windshield and I wear a FF helmet too. What's your point?
Just curious so are you saying you get no wind in your face with this shield.
And it just goes over your head?
If thats true I want one.
It's drastically reduced with this windscreen. If you compare it to stock, it's night and day. It also depends on your seating position, how tall you are, etc.
Visually it looks good but from a safety standpoint a hard no.
Why? I don't look through it. It's not tall enough. I see over the windscreen. Besides, looking through it is distorted anyways. It would be a different story if it was one of those tall windscreens that is in front of your face.

? 🤔 Some people like full face helmets for wind ,sound ,weather , or sun protection . Some use built in coms or speakers .
The Klock Werks windshield is very good at deflecting wind, you look over it not through it, I fail to see the issue with painting it or wearing a FF while using that windshield. That wasn't the point of the thread. And yes, the windshield deflects the wind well enough the wind goes over your head, even on the highway.
