So I waited several months for V & H to come out with fuelpak fp3 for 2021 Harley touring models. Instead they develop an improved version called FP4. Has all these great bluetooth features. Go to install using my iphone and it does not function as claimed. I call V&H and they tell me it does not work well with iphones what I need to get is an android device in order to use all the fp4 features. HOLY S&(#T Maybe they will work it out in the future but right now I am sorry I bought it.
I recently just for the fp4 for my 2021 48 sportster and once I tried to use it it didn't work. I have a android also, and now my bike wont start and i was told to wait until Wednesday for the new update to fix this issue. They really dropped the ball on this.
BEWARE! Do not buy this FP4 tuner. It simply does not work. Maybe 10% function on Iphone and 40% functions work on Andriod.
You will not beable to auto tune on either phone app iphone or Andriod, you cant see fuel ratio readings on IOS app, RDRS does not work on new tunes. I don't understand how they can release a product that is so fundamentally flawed. V&H?s support response is ?find a friend with an android phone, and borrow their phone?. Are you serious???!!!! This is uncharacteristic of V&H. Would be ok if Andriod phone would work all function advertized Vance and hines said would work with this FP4 but it will not. the andriod phone app does have couple more functions but not enough like in description this $450 item promised to do. It does not work and Vance and Hines has no idea when it will be fixed and will not replace or return money so you can get item that does work.
Andriod still does not have all the function you are suppost to get with this FP4 tuner. Vance and Hines does not know when updates are going to get fixed or work. They will also lie to you when you call them and ask about it. I ask the mlike 3 question and they yep it all works now. Not a single Function was on IOS or Google Andriod app. The item is useless and they should refund peoples money so they ca nget something that does work.
Works 10% functions on Iphone and only 40% andriod. You still do not recieve all the function/options on either phone. No Autotune, no decel popping option. Atleast you can see a little info of fuel ratio on Andriod but sill not everything it was advertized to do.
I've liked several Vance & Hines exhausts over the years....
But I have never been a fan of anything but a stand alone, flash tuner.... so I have not read much about their tuner.. My PowerVision & WinPV on my garage laptop work just fine for me...
I am a little shocked that V&H has allowed it to be released without being fully functional....

Maybe in the future if VanceHines gets it together with the FP 4 itll be OK but right now I sure wish I wouldve bought a PowerVision instead of the fp4
The iOS app was updated a few days ago, and a new one will be coming this week I believe. More features are available on Android as we lost our iOS dev and were without one for a few months during development. Please be patient as we continually improve both apps and bring them more in line with one another.
Two years later and the IOS is still pitiful compared to the Android version. I luckily had an unused Android phone I could use. I love my V&H pipes (pre-PCX Twin Slash) and VO2 Rogue but wish I went with another tuner.
