So I waited several months for V & H to come out with fuelpak fp3 for 2021 Harley touring models. Instead they develop an improved version called FP4. Has all these great bluetooth features. Go to install using my iphone and it does not function as claimed. I call V&H and they tell me it does not work well with iphones what I need to get is an android device in order to use all the fp4 features. HOLY S&(#T Maybe they will work it out in the future but right now I am sorry I bought it.

Ouch! Just spitballing here but, as a work around, can you grab a beater, used, Android phone and just use the Bluetooth and access V&H via the internet on the phone?
Is their app usable on a laptop? (Probably not)

Sounds like a typical case of a company rushing to to get a product to market..... I would hope that little caveat is mentioned somewhere in the product description and you just missed it.. otherwise they should take it back for a refund...
Too often these days companies are rushing a product to market and letting their customers be the beta testers..... A much more profitable business model than waiting for full development and testing....

The iOS app was updated a few days ago, and a new one will be coming this week I believe. More features are available on Android as we lost our iOS dev and were without one for a few months during development. Please be patient as we continually improve both apps and bring them more in line with one another.

No Apple products for me ever again. It' been my experience in the past that Apple does not play well with others!

I got my hands on an android phone and got the fp4 to work. I wish V H would have noted that fp4 does not currently work well with iphone on their website.Telling me that it will work better in the future does not do much for me. If something changes for the better I shall keep everyone updated. Other wise maybe consider something else.
