Mounting on the high side, Big guy

Mounting on the high side, Big guy
Hope someone can answer this. Im 61 and weigh 340. Want to mount from the high side to help ease some pain. Will the right side floorboard hold my weight? I just dont want to try it and risk bending it or breaking it. Has anyone my weight tried it? Ive got an 04 Ultra. Thanks in advance.

Im also a high side mounter due to back issues. Im a bit less than you, and am concerned my weight on the floor board might tip the bile over. So I dont do it. I lift my left leg. And use my hand to pull my leg over by the cuff in my jeans.

Motor officers mount from the right side and I've seen some big ones. With the handlebars turned all the way to the left you can safely mount the bike. Put your foot on the floorboard lean into the bike, don't pull on the bars just use it for balance swing your leg over. Done properly it should not be a problem.

Thanks everyone.. I'll try it and see what happens. I'm not worried about the actual action of doing it, just wanted to know if the floorboard could hold my weight. We will see.
