Just joined. I really need some direction. 2013 CVO Road King. won't start. I can hear the fuel pump, it registers no gas! and yet there is gas in tank- 1/2 full. Will not even fire.
Any thoughts?

Take the air cleaner off and squirt a little starting fluid down the throttle body. Crank the engine. If it starts, your problem is fuel. If it doesn't, Its ignition
Edit: I am assuming you hooked up the fuel hose to the fuel rail. Might want to start there.
Yes I have multi meter and the battery is no problem. I don't have any starter fluid right now. Need to get it and try as suggested. By the way ran codes and nothing came up.
Check battery voltage while cranking, must stay above 9.8V
Make sure all your fuses are good - instrument fuse .
The fuel pump is controlled by the system relay, it comes on for a couple seconds the shuts off. The ground for the system relay coil is controlled by the ECM, ign on turn the run/stop to run and the relay coil is grounded for 2 seconds. When the ECM sees an input from the CKP, engine is rotating, it grounds the relay so the pump runs continuous.
Ok, voltage is good at cranking, I checked all fuses, no issues. The strange thing is that all the normal info on the dash such as security or odometer are there, no problem. Just no gas registers.
If you can make it fire by adding starter fluid , then your problem may exist in your fuel tank , pump primes , but the hose could have came loose , or the fuel pressure regulator could have cracked and is redirecting thefuel back inside the tank . If the quick release hasn't been messed with , I doubt it's the fuel line to the t.b , if it has , the inner seal could have deteriorated and it blocking the hose . The easiest way to find out , would be to do a pressure test , should be in the upper 50-60 psi , if not , then get into the tank . If you don't have a tester , just visibly inspecting the components might solve your issue .
Or the craptastice plastic flex fuel line from the filter assembly to the fuel tank bung sprung a leak (pin hole or crack) and why you are not getting fuel presssure to the rail/injectors instead. And yes, #11 hose does come with a new lower tank quick disconnect bunge, so the reason that this hose assembly is spendy in the first place.
Note, there is a quick connect fuel pressure gauge that you can get to check pressure on the lower tank bunge to double check internal tank parts before you pull the tank internals to see if the tank system has pressure to the bunge or not. Its spendy for a once a blue moon check, but most of the time, best to just pull the tank parts to at least change out the fuel filter while you are in there checking the other parts for leaks as well.
