Super Shox install issue

I have the 14" SuperShox with their lowing brackets, and everything went together easily, and as expected... I've had them for a few years now and love them!
There is some sort of anomaly going on with the nut or the stud or both.... badly cut threads or something somewhere.
I'd put something (non-marring) between the bracket and the shock to add a little pressure to separate them, WHILE turn the nut counter clock wise, and see if with a little pressure the nut come off.
Once you get the nut off of the stud you should be able to see what the culprit is.
Probably an easy fix... just maybe not today.

To the original poster, please give us an update after you talk to Brian or figure it out yourself. Im about a week away from installing those shocks and relocation mounts on my Ultra Limited. Ill be following this thread.

I've put on, and removed Super shox off of my bike, on to new bike, a few times, never an issue. Gotta be cross threaded, or over tourqued, unless it's a bad bracket, I'm sure Brian will make it rt for you, regardless

Evidently, the OP hasn't resolved the issue, or just never updated his issue on this forum.....TOO BAD because I'll be installing the same in a couple of weeks and would like to know.

I have had no problem with mine. I have also taken mine off and on a couple times trying to make my mind up if I want to keep 13 inch in the rear or 12 inch using the lowering blocks.
