2011 limited. Usually runs great but occasionally just shuts off while riding and won’t restart. I’m leaning towards fuel pump or crank sensor. Any help will be very appreciated.
I would carry a can of starting fluid or such. Then when it quits it should try to run on the canned fuel "if" it is a fuel issue. Just get a can with the small tube on sprayer and spray into filter.
Then if it doesn't try to start or run on the fuel you can rule out the fuel issue.
I would bet on the coil going out. Have seen a few do that as in stop working once it gets hot.
Could also carry a spark plug that you have tested and shows good spark with your bike turning over.

Ride Safe✌🏼
Tried the starting fluid. One time it tried to start and another time, it did nothing.
First start with easy stuff..make sure battery terminals are clean and tight.
Happened with friends bike, would start and run fine then would just shut off and wouldn’t restart. Few minutes later after they wiggled a little and made connection it would start right up.
Would start with pulling and cleaning the key switch assembly contacts. Questionable connections there lead down like to all kind of electrical problems.
From there, would go down wire to the main breaker and change it out as well. They are not water proof, so over time humidity/moisture gets into them and cause contact corrosion problem as well.
As for crank sensor easy enough to pull the cover and see if it melting. From there, time to dive into the tank to check the pump pick up screen if the tank liner is peeling off and pieces blocking it, have a problem with the fuel regulator or filter clogged or leak problems, or maybe a pin hole leak in the according fuel line as well.
