Although I agree the HD one is vastly "overpriced"....the cheaper e-bay ones might prove the general rule "you get what you pay for"...so buyer beware.

I recently removed and chucked the eBay unit pictured above. The spring on the backrest arms kept flying off when I squeezed them together to insert in the socket. Those arms are super wobbly cos their riveted mounts are loose and crappy.
The bike-mounted socket wasn’t too badly made, but the backrest itself leaves a lot to be desired.

I bought one for my RK pos is being kind. It would not work as intended. Do not waste your money.
