Smile Disk Rotors

I have a 2011 Road Glide Ultra. Before anyone decides to send me an E-Mail concerning the Touring Models Shop Manual and that I should buy it, Hold on. I have that exact manual and I have spent a considerable amount of time trying to look up the correct Torque Requirement. Harley provide the Torque Requirements for the bolts on the calipers but they don't provide the Torque requirements for the Rotor Disk. Please help.

I'm assuming you have an HD Factory Service Manual, and not one of those aftermarket books..

It's frustrating when you can't find something in the Factory HD Service Manual... but the important stuff is there...

Sometimes you can't find it because of an identification/name error. For example, in the service manual, the "brake rotors" are called "brake discs" and you are looking for the torque for the "brake disc screws".

Sometimes, you can't find it because it's not in the location where you think it should be.... as is the case here...

And sometimes you forget to check the addendums in the back of the manual, again, as is the case here...

This is from my 2012 Touring models HD Service Manual. It should be almost identical to your 2011 Touring Manual..

There is a section in the addendum, at the end of the manual, that goes from page 9 to 23. It lists all the torque values given in the manual. You can see that the front and rear "brake disc screws" are listed.

Additionally, they don't put the brake disc installation in the brake section. It is listed under "Front Wheel- Installation"

Just thought I'd share this with you, so you don't think your factory service manual is lacking... If you have an aftermarket manual, toss it and get the HD factory manual..

Good luck with your repair....
