6.5" w/ recurve in dark grey from Clearview on my 07 SG. Made a huge dfference andithas avery, very nice optical quality. As long as I don't stretch way up I don't get any buffeting. I'm about 6'1" and was worried that it wouldn't be tall enough. Plus the 6.5" recurve looks awesome on the bike.

I have the same and love it, I am 6' and it is perfect. I do not like looking through the shield. and this one performs great and allows me to see over it with no problem
I am six ft and the eight inch from FastAire did it for me. Great service, fast shipping, and price!
Sure beats the HD prices. Talk to Jim at Fast Aire - good guy who cares about his product.
I bought a 5" from American Thunder through Ebay. It works well for me as it took the bufferiung away. I am 5'10" so depending on your height you may need something taller. Try using your hand while riding to feel where the air is coming from to get an idea of the height you may need. Start at the top of your head in front of you and move towards the windshield.
i went with the 11 inch ssc which is the equivqlent of a normal 8 incher .
got mine in ice blue .
and on their site they tell you how to measure up for the correct size.it was originally developed by one of the posters here .
i like the way the ssc looks with the close to me curve and how it deflects the air about 1/2 inch over my helmet but yet i see over it .
the one exception is when i am riding in back roads in connecticut or vermont or anywhere and there is a dip or a crest . in such a situation you are for a few seconds looking thru the top layer of the fairing ,but ,it being ice blue ,there is no problem looking thru it.
i think that their web site is www.ceeebaileys.com
they make a great product and have seen them on many bmw's/
