Some questions.....
Full Tour Pack vs Razor / Chopped Pack - Is there some advantage to the smaller setup? I like the aesthetic of the smaller pack, but wonder how much room one loses. Can a full face helmet fit?
Paint - On the HD site, it mentions having to purchase at the dealer for paint? Does HD not sell a pre painted tour pack?
Weight - How much weight does it add, and how does it affect handling?
Aftermarket - Are there aftermarket packs available and are they worth it?

Greatly appreciated!!!!
If all you want to carry in that tour pack is a Pizza, then the Razor will work.

I had Chopped tour pack on my previous Street Glide, and it did just fine for me. Not sure a Full Face helmet would have fit in it though.
As for paint, they will come "pre-painted" when you order from the dealer. They take all your information down including paint code when you order.
The dealer won't keep them in stock though, so it will be several weeks from the time you order until it comes in. These days with the supply chain issues might be an even longer wait.

i love my king tour pack. as far as handling, its probably 40lbs up high and out back. i know when its on or off, but i dont feel it effects handling at all if that makes sense. ive had some guys on this forum argue that they cant even feel it, which i find hard to believe. its not a negative, i just feel like i can feel an extra 40lbs in an odd place.

All day long...YES it affects bikes center of gravity a lot but easy to adapt to in short order.

Honestly , I'm not sure what I bought , but a full size is probably going to be your best bet , no way a full face is going in either razor or chopped . I don't even feel it when it's on , had to paint it to match and get a new lock so I wouldn't have to carry a bunch of keys . I was lucky enough to pick it up cheap , so it will do when my wife and I are traveling , helmets still get locked to the crash bar .

I purchased a king tour pack for my 2019 FLHTP.

I use my bike as much as I can, and the tour pack allows me to stow my helmet while in a store. Or carry more stuff home easier.

I like to looks of the chopped and razor. But not as useful for my usage.

The most I travel is about three days at a time, and I ride solo exclusively. I also wear a half helmet that fits in there, so the HD chopped tour pak has been great for me. Would buy it again.

Razor is absolutely useless and why it’s discontinued. I have the chopped and tour the country and have zero issues. It will not hold a full face but it does stow my entire campsite. Tent, sleeping bag, cot, chair, jet boil, pillow, rain gear, small ceiling fan and mini air conditioner. I do have the rack on it and use that for my bad that holds my clothes. I keep my saddle bags as empty as I can for buying **** while I’m out for the 9 days. Wyoming to New England to Alabama.

I have the King Tour-Pak that came with my Electra Glide and it definitely serves me well on long trips. I prefer the look of the smaller backrest that comes on the Chopped Tour-Pak and I'd consider fitting it on mine if my wife didn't like the arm rests so much.

When fully-loaded the extra weight definitely affects the handling, but, you get used to it after a few miles. 2 full-face helmets fit inside very easily and I also have the tour-pak bag that fits inside so it's easy to transfer my stuff into a hotel room for the night. I've seen after market tour-paks and the hardware seems to be the weak point, so, if you were to go that route, I'd at least get the H-D hardware.

I have both chopped & king, chopped stays on all the time unless I do a 2-3 night stay over then that’s when the king comes on

Chopped is denial. It's not a chopper. You don't look any cooler with less space

I put on detachable, and it is hard to take off. It is just so useful. More storage, more you ride
