I'll drop the occasional grammar bomb like that just to twig the OCD english majors in here, you can hear their crowns cracking and the keyboard groaning in the correction replies it gets. Particularly effective when trolling a grammar troll
Three years ago, wife and I were about 60 pounds over the weight rating for my Street Glide. So I bought a Freewheeler trike and we rode that for two years until we lost a combined 65 pounds. We sold the trike and bought a new Road Glide last fall.
You have your own risk tolerance, and do what you need to do. Just a word of caution. With that much weight that high up on a bike, braking will be compromised and it will be extremely difficult to make an emergency swerve to avoid the random idiot who pulls out in front of you. Watch your speed and you can make it work. Ride safe.
