The 2015's had 2 recall items, the saddle bag pins (2014s also) and the clutch master cylinder... I had a neighbor with the Ultra Limited, and I have the 16 Road Glide Ultra (no apes)... both bikes over 60k miles and other than typical maintenance, no issues whatsoever, so far. My 16 had the same clutch master cylinder recall, I think they just did a flush and "rebuild" of the clutch master cylinder, the day I picked it up.. https://howtune.com/recalls/harley-davidson/flhtk/2015/
I was mistaken. Seller said it was liquid cooled but it is not. It is a ultra classic low. Not a ultra limited low. Runs great and strong. 103 ho
Not to burst your bubble Friend, but is a plain 103ci. The 103HO is in the Limited with water cooled heads and 10:1 pistons. The Ultra is 103ci with 9:75 pistons I believe or a close ratio. Still a good motor and the 103 is becoming the HD example of a bullet proof motor. That's also from alot of builders of bikes to with that opinion. So you definitely didn't go wrong with your pick , CONGRATS and hope all is still going good with your scooter. Be sure to check your neck bearings every other oil change. Could save your life. Or best take out the cheap Chinese bearings and put in Timken's to be done with it forever.

Yep, I too have the 103 HO in a Street Glide Special. You can see your work on it paid off. It looks great. To ME, that's part of the ownership experience, knowing what it was, and what you made it into. My bike looked like it was cleaned with gas station brown paper towels and some comet. Now, nary a swirl mark. It gives me a sense of accomplishment, it should you too. You ever want to add some fuel to it, look into the Dobeck EJK kits for them. Don't order online as they give a great military, medical/first responder etc discount on the phone. Simple to use, not a "tuner" but has worked well for me for my past 2 HD's.

Im digging the bike so far. Just returned from a 5,000 mile 13 day trip. Bike was flawless. I have made a few upgrades, since purchasing. So far best improvements have been Legend rear shocks and the bars. I plan to change the clutch slave cylinder a little later on. I dont like the feel of the hyd clutch.
Ive came across what seems to be a smoking deal on a bone stock , 1 owner, 2015 ultra limited with 8k miles on it. I currently ride an 06 ultra with 60k on it. I wasnt really planning on upgrading now, as my 06 is flawless, set up like I like it, (and paid for). I feel it has alot of life left in it. However we do take some cross country trips and the low mileage on this bike is attractive to me. It has the 103 HO engine (twin cooled, I think) on it. Were these years / models problematic? Im not real familiar with the "newer" bikes. I'd have to sell my 06, and just dont want to go from a dependable bike, to getting one with known issues. Any info is appreciated.
I believe '14-'16 were the best years for twin cams. The '14's got some crap over cooling systems but mine was never a problem until I got flattened by an F150.
