I have the https://www.kurveygirl.com/collections/valve-stems valve stems on all 6 of my bikes. Never a failure, never a hassle. I can even check and fill air in the rear wheel of the FLHTP without removing a bag.
Sorry for the huge photo. I had this air valve extender on my rear tire for about 5 months now. It's just so hard to get at the valve to check tire air pressure this made it easier to get to. Well, the valve on my tire I guess was getting too much vibration and maybe getting pulled? by the extender. Yesterday I rode home with a mostly flat tire and this morning found the culprit. The valve itself was bent, torn and sprang a leak. I'll go back to playing Twister to get at the valve. Though the tire was not flat I planned on replacing it anyway and as luck would have it, my tires were delivered today from J&P Cycles. (While I was working on the valve) Sometimes sh&^% works out well.
Rode another sloooowwwww 5 miles to the shop to get some work done w/o any danger to the rim. My fault I know. Lesson learned
Had the same thing with the same valve happen to me.
thats neat...but ain't working on any gas station air pump I've ever seen. I carry the HD extension hose on the bike...fits right in the case of the mini air pump. I've had several people see the hose in use and say " no ****...where the hell did ya get that?" Lol...it's easy, cheap...by hd standards...and works. But just oil or wax everyone has their favorite lol.
well, after you install a an air chuck fitting on it, and connect to an air line.......it will work just fine. Not everybody goes to a gas station for air.

I'm pretty confident you'd never get that on the valve stem of the spoked wheels on my Ultra

Was that extender put on a rubber valve stem....???
It is not usually a good idea to put heavy accessories on the end of a rubber valve stem. The weight with centrifugal force it places on the rubber valve stem, can damage the rubber valve stem.
Many of the valve cap TPM kits say to use metal valve stems for this very reason...
I too use the HD extender referenced earlier in this thread. I have two.
Oddly, I noticed on my 2012 bagger the valve stem points directly straight up towards the wheels axle making it difficult to air the tire at all as there's little space to maneuver the air hose nozzle, while my 2008 bagger, the valve stems are at an angle on the rim making it really easy to air them up.
Why did they change this design?
Pic is not my tire but for illustration. Arrow is the 2008 Ultra valve stem at an angle, blue cap is the 2012 design
