Just did mine...super slick...no issues. Grabbed a 16GB SanDisk USB stick that I had. Checked to make sure there was nothing on it. Loaded the iso file on it, plugged it in to the bike, took about 5 minutes...done.
Honestly...not really sure. Just saw there was an update so I went ahead and did it in order to keep it current. Kind of like my phone when it updates.
Well there's a North American map update available as of 30 June. Perhaps that's what you downloaded.
Not sure about that as the MY22.21.28.00 update for the GTS has been available since January 13th, and map updates are separate I believe. I could be wrong though.
I did the update this morning (thank you for the .iso hide tip) and all day CarPlay worked flawlessly without the stupid gymnastics of turn bike on, turn helmet on, plug in phone. Was wonderful for a 350 mile ride.
Reason you don't show iso has to do with " file extensions" on PC. Forgot how I got there but you need to change to either hide or uncheck hide extensions. I think it's hide. Opposite of what you have now.

Get yourself a Mac Downloaded the update. Once done, it pops up and it's separated. Drag & drop .iso file to USB stick. Plug in bike...let it do it's thing and "Boom" (pun intended) it's done.
