Have any of you just done away with the heated grips?

No, I added them to my bike, why would you want to delete them if you already have them??

How about this? Don’t turn them on.

If you want some other type of grips, the heated grips come off the same as non heated grips. Just Unplug them

FWIW…I’m surprised how much I’ve used mine, even in San Diego.

Looks like we have all turned into a bunch of sissy's. I can easily remember riding in temps in the 30's. As far as I know heated grips didn't exist then. Didn't think anything about it, bundled up and rode.

True, but sometimes I wonder if I'm getting all caught up in the tech and losing sight of riding.

According to the internet, I cannot have ridden 800,000 miles since 1982, and lived. I started riding with incandescent headlights, drum brakes, and 65HP.
