I added them to my bars during a bar swap...since I had them torn apart anyways, why not. But for those of you who don't feel the need for them or too pricey, battery operated gloves work wonders as well for those really cold days. And for those of us "vaginal warriors", we use both together....

52 years of riding. Two careers in the retirement file . Few good injuries along the way. 40 plus years living and riding in Wisconsin cold weather.
You are not the rider you were 20 years ago.
Better riding gear extends the riding years.
I have not had to tear the strike part of a match book off to clean a plug or set of points in a long time. just because I can does no mean I want to.
Drum brakes such no madder how to look at it.
End of May 4,000 mile ride. Put gas in. checked oil add 4 oz. The new **** is better.

Of course not! Grandma included me in her will and I have a 40 year supply of Sears Catalogs. I'm good.

Ain't that the truth...... Good thing too, because I quit smoking back in 1978... Not sure I even have a match book lying around anywhere...
