yes the used market is very stiff right now but it’s not so stiff that one should be running off buying salvage title bikes.
People paying better than top dollar now for bikes . But they also expect the value to hold. Salvage title just not worth it,use you get it dirty cheap and keep it to the end.
Cash for that bike with a good title I would be @10k with some wiggle room as a buyer. Salvaged tittle to me is 35-40% off that price. If I really liked the bike and had to have it I would offer 5500 with a little wiggle room. That said I would never buy a salvaged tittle vehicle on a common item.
I've seen a couple of "Salvaged Title" scooters give years of service ... As mentioned it all depends on what kind of damage made it a salvage ... As a keeper it can be a great deal ... For resale, not so much

replaced fairing, one bag, headlight, blinkers. Pipes and tank were not even touched his bars didn’t even need to be replaced. He got very lucky he is still here to talk about it….
