I run one like this attached to my windshield, it doesn’t look bad and works all the time.

My Sirius antenna is mounted behind the wind screen, on the throttle side of the vent. Same installation technique as described. Never had a problem with reception and the antenna is practically invisible.

Wonder if it works ok inside the fairing.?just ordered one for my trip to VA/WV .

Not sure if it works inside the fairing, I run a Madstad windshield and have it attached between the windshields, doesn’t bother me at all
