Question for you "Real Bikers" ;)
but the idea of everytime I go riding I leave my watch behind is kind of phony I think..
but no, now I need to know, what time to take my pills, what time to go to the Dr. what day I have to cut the grass, what time I have to meet the other old retired bikers for coffee and where, so as you said time is important to us all, some just would like it not to be, but its a fact we live with "Only time will Tell"
Time to get up, time to go to work, time to have lunch, time to go home, time to go to the movie, time to go to child's play at school, and in my case its now my grandchildren programs at school, and then we have time to go to bed and then we have to get up and repeat it all over again.
personally I like time now, everyday I get up and think, I have enough time left for one more ride, one more coffee with my friends and yes, even time to take a nap, which is just what I'm going to do right now..because it is Rain time outside.[sm=hiya.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif]
I might take a cell phone and throw it in the saddlebag for an emergency call... or a "hey, Honey, I won't be home for dinner because I'm 4 hours away and roads are great, see you tonight." but man.. some people got those freakin' cells glued to their ear.
sorry.. I just despise the freakin' things.
I think the cell phone mania is even worse than watches. Go on a ride with my buddies.. stop to stretch and maybe get a bite to eat.. BANG.. 4 cell phones appear and we never get to talk to them because they're checking in on ...whatever!
I might take a cell phone and throw it in the safflebag for an emergency call... or a "hey, Honey, I won't be home for dinner because I'm 4 hours away and roads are great, see you tonight." but man.. some people got those freakin' cells glued to their ear.
sorry.. I just dispise the freakin' things.
I thought that when I retired I could forget time

As I was filling out the form,I got to DATE ..... looked at the lady
"whats todays date?"
"the 15th"
"what month?"
"8th"
ThenI really had to think a minute
"what year?"
Talk about a brain fart....... and her look was priceless.
Easy Rider was back when they made real movies.
