Fellas…I cannot seem to find an accurate answer to my question. Here goes…I am currently running all incandescent bulbs with the exception of my tail light, which is LED. I do NOT have a load equalizer/stabilizer installed. I am going to be purchasing a Standard Triple Play module for Run, Brake, Signal in the rear. I will also install a load equalizer in front of module. IF, I switch bulbs to Kuryakyn LED (Red) will I need another load equalizer? TIA 2006 Road King Classic FLHRCI
All you need is one load equalizer. If you go with Custom Dynamics, they have a Smart Triple Play which is your all-in-one load equalizer and the module for your brake and turns. I have this module on my '13 King and a nice feature is you can adjust the turn signal intensity to match the brake light.
The purpose of the load equalizer is to keep both your front and rear LED turn signals from hyper-flashing. Doesn't matter on the brake lights or headlights.
Thanks fellas. I am buying the CD module used….model #GEN-SMART-TPU-HD
Note at the bottom of product page states…. Note: The use of this product requires a Signal Stabilizer™ or load equalizer when used with factory incandescent or LED turn signals. (2011-2018 Softail®, 2012-2017 Dyna®, 2014-2018 Touring, 2014-2018 Sportster® models do NOT require a Signal Stabilizer).
Can I use an Eagle Lights load equalizer? Part Number: EL60WR-P. Seems as though I can. Just wanting some reassurance.

I suspect any load stabilizer can be used..... but there is always a chance of some kind of compatibility issue between different manufacturers. Just be aware of that possibility...
FYI..... make sure to put the load stabilizer between the main bike harness (output) and the input side of the Run, Turn, Brake module....
So it should be: motorcycle harness output, load stabilizer, Run, Turn, Brake module, then harness input to rear lights...
