Default Hide wire from Tour Pak

I am adding some Ciro3d lights to my tour pak. Looking for ideas to hide the wire coming from my tour pak, to the connector under the seat. Is there a way I can route the wire by drilling a hole on the bottom of my tour pak, and snaking it to the connector?

I didn't get to fancy with mine. On the bottom left side I drilled a 1/4 inch hole, de-pinned the connector, fed wire loom through and re-pinned the connector. King tour pac and have no water issues. Picture is looking up at bottom of tour pac while it is on the bike.

Rubber grommet in that hole will minimize wear to the harness and improve water resistance.

pick the grommet that fits best around the harness, then drill the hole in the tour pak that best fits the grommet.

I put a king tour pak light on a chopped tour pak I added to a Street Glide.

I didn't want to use a grommet, the plastic was to thick where i wanted to put the hole, plus i wanted to keep the hole small. I used thick heat shrink over the factory wire loom, then repinned the connector.
Works great for me.

When I installed my top lid light , I removed the backrest and drilled a small hole to run the wires through , no grommet , but after I depinned it , I added an extra length of nylon sleeve to it . I run the harness under the passenger seat and tucked it under the rider seat , 100% hidden . Just make sure the wiring under the passenger seat can be moved freely before bolting it down , have had no issues at all , done about 4k like that .

I de-pinned mine too, and slid the wire thru... but I also used a grommet. 50 cents at Lowes. They are made for whatever thickness of the material the hole is in, the size of the grommets center hole that the wire runs thru, and the size of the "overlap" of the grommet itself... the 3 variables of a grommet I drilled a hole that my pinky won't fit in and was able to easily find a grommet that fit snug at Lowes, plus it looks more "finished", if that matters. You can even add one later IF you want, by just splitting the grommet and working it in to place. I drilled a hole in the bottom of my chopped tour pack, about and 1-1/2" back from the front edge, works fine and can't be seen really.... just have your tour pack rack on the tour pack, so you know where you drill at in in the clear.
