I'm trading in my 1998 95th Anniversary Road Glide for an "08" Anniversary Road Glide. Are there any issues or concerns with the 08's as of now? N E body out there in an 08 yet or heard of issues? Thanks in advance for the heads up!!

 

I'm driving the 08 street glide. I love it--there are no issues axcept: No power commander, SERT or other tuners available to do mods with at this time.

 

As they've only been out a few weeks, you won't see any "Issues" yet. It's going to take a while, but, like most first run things, the likelyhood of something needing to be tweaked/fixed is greater

 

Thanks fellow HDers. I will continue to monitor for other advices.

 

My 08 FLHTCUhad a drive-train alignment issue, but I corrected that real quick....

 

Ok, I guess im slow but I dont get it???

 

Can you elaborate on the symtoms and your cure?

Other than being UGLY (copper & black).....the rest is yet to come.

"Solid Black" isn't the most colorful scheme available....you haven't noticed the other '08 schemes?

 

Yea, everybody is entitled to their opinion. To me black is bland. You must be one of those guys that has to make up for other issues in going for the manly black and only black. Don't get me wrong, certain scoots look great with the right black and chrome combo but that bat wing, plastic mirrors and all blacked out looks like cr_p. Again, everyone's opinion.
