I don't comprehend how removing a heat shield to reveal a fugly exhaust makes this undressed & lean (or mean).

I thought I was gonna see a stripped down bike, not what looks like a bike missing 1 or 2 mechanical parts.

Please explain.
I couldn't agree more. To my eyes its a big bike with puny pipes now

I like the mean and lean minimalist truck in the picture but maybe that's taking it a little far? Can't even drive it.

I want the simple clean intake like yours. Iconic shape.

Something along my threads intent would be a pic of a second bike, your cool garage, or even the Grand Canyon, as captured by you in the reflection of your clean intake.

Thanks for posting! I really never meant for a simple, I think this pic of this atypical focal point I think looks cool...thread could be so confusing and frustrating.

No disagreement. I never realized lightly joking about my stripped down bagger being "lean", or anything would inhibit participation of others sharing the pics they think are cool of their bike.

My bike doesn't fit neatly into any one box, be it traditional classic, chopper, performance bagger...etc.

And I don't see why it should.

Some can, and have freely **** on the pipes and not shared their own subjective cool.

I'll be sure to use only Harley endorsed descriptors that fit neatly into predetermined approved labels, as to not infuriate others by asking for cool pics they have of their bikes by referencing my misplaced lean-ness.

My beater looks cool. Bruised up headers on a bagger are not the norm.

I think they are pretty.

I shared the pic.

That's all. Nothing to beat, argue, or anything.

Hell, I don't care if it's a pic of your draining oil change...if it's your FLH, your pic, and your particular brand of cool focus...let's see it.

I didn't expect to enjoy my headers, to be completely honest. But these fugly things are pretty, albeit imperfect.
