motorcycle shipper
My son ordered some speaker enclosures for a car and it showed up looking like they backed over it with the truck. Shipping items is the last thing i do if i can not go and pick the item up no matter what it is.
Hope all turns out well for you.

Sorry for your troubles... Your situation really sucks... I hope you had shipping insurance...
I'm certainly not trying to defend the shipping company(s).... However, the elephant in the room that is not being addressed, has to do with the particulars to the bike inspection and loading... who, what, where, and how....
You don't say much about the why it was shipped, but it appears you purchased the bike and had the prior owner ship the bike to you.... correct...???
If so, that leads me to wonder about many details...
1) Did you inspect the bike prior to purchase, or were you "trusting" the prior owner is accurate and honest about the condition of the bike just prior to loading...? Picture angles and exposures can hide a lot of flaws....
2) What kind of damage, other than the battery/radio....?
3) How does the alarm going off, and killing the battery, damage the radio..? How do you know, other than the word of the prior owner, that the radio was damaged during shipment...?
Again, not taking the side of the shipper(s), but I also know there are a lot of people who would take advantage of a bike sale where they get to supply any and all info on the bike, prior to purchase without an inspection by the new owner/agent...
Sorry but the reality is that some people will lie for personal gain... Also, watch any Hollywood movie or check out a magazine photo spread.... Pictures and video CAN lie... they are not always accurate representations of fact or truth....
I wish you luck in getting the bike fixed, but just based on the info you give, I'm not ready to totally blame the shipper....
