Front tire cracked/split all the way across. Yep this is the edited line..
Manufacturer date code (2321).
Give or take 1 year old from manufacturing date.
Installed March 2022.
Probably less than 5000mil on it.
I always keep good tire pressure never over Loaded looked over befor every ride.
Question do you think this crack/split is inpack damage?

That does not instill confidence. I believe that is the same tire my son had replaced under warranty on his 2011 Road Glide. Still having problems 10 years later.
After the third rear Dunlop tire split badly at 4000kms, I’d had enough. All I got from Dunlop was that I was overloading the tire or running under inflated. After sending the temp/heat graphs from my Tpms, I never heard from them again. I’ll never put another Dunlop on my bike.
FDDK, sorry you've had such a bad experience with Dunlop. I have an '08 FLHT, and Dunlop is usually all I run. Although I run the American Elites My bike is now at 145,000 miles, and has went through a bunch of AEs without a single problem. Came with 402s. Wasn't impressed at all. Hence the AEs.
I discovered this morning, as I was getting ready to head out for a ride, that I have this same crack across the tread on the rear tire of my FLHTK. This tire replaced the last one that did the same defect. Dealership contacted Dunlop last time and they covered some of the cost of a new tire, so we'll see if they do it again. I've never had an issue with the front and I always ride single. Is there a better option out there?
