Heel/toe shifter “play”.. how much?
How much “play” (in and out movement) should there be in the shaft that runs from the heel toe shifters thru to the linkage’s lever?
I currently have about a 1/16” of in and out movement. I can loosen the fasteners and push the shift levers in towards the engine to eliminate all space, in-out movement ie: slop but perhaps some slight in-out movement of the shifters and linkage is correct.
I just don’t know.
