Hi guys!
I am new to this part of the forum, I just traded my 2022 fat bob for a 2022 road glide special. I really wanted the ST but they are like unoptanium up here so I took what was available which is a special in gunship grey. So far the only thing I have put on is a 13 inch legend revo A, eventually I plan on going with the Ohlins fork drop ins or race tech. I have to be careful on the mods as I made a deal with my wife that if I traded the fat bob already (obviously loosing some $$) then I had to leave the RG stock. Well she is already not too happy learning about the suspension but she did appreciate the cushy first ride . Later I plan on Kraus wolf one pro riser kit and obviously exhaust. I did purchassed a license for my PV4 that I had on the fat bob and it came with the fuel moto stock map which is still better than the stock HD mapping
Don't think the Ohlins NIX are available for the 21 or 22 yet, not sure if due to actual incompatibilities or if they just haven't updated their fitment info yet. Some retailers state them as -2022, but Ohlins themselves don't. Definitely on my shortlist as well.
Making a deal to keep it stock is rough. But I love the color you chose. Pics are in order, and as far as the front cartridges, call Ohlins directly and I'm sure they'll be able to answer the compatibility issues.
I just rebuilt my forks and added 15 weight oil over the stock 8 weight and there was huge difference for the better.

Wow.. I'd love to trade my 2022 Road King on a 2022 Road Glide Special... But it ain't gonna happen The shortest time I've ever owned a bike is 2 years.
Congrats on the new bagger... You'll definitely enjoy it.
Congrats on your new ride. As I'm sure you already know, the difference in ride comfort on a bagger is night and day, especially on those epic all-day or multi-day rides.
Unfortunately there is no end to the amount of money you can spend to upgrade your ride but that is par for the course when you buy a Harley.
The initial motorcycle purchase is really only a Harley "starter kit" and where you take it from there is limited only by your bank balance (and the patience of your wife)....
