But after using it for a few months, I really like it. The clutch assist has become second nature, the TC rain mode also helps in gravel. It is not in any way a distraction, very intuitive. I would not have ordered it that way, but not sorry it’s there.
clutch assist? Can you say more…

Salesperson that I dealt with buying my '08 FLHT told me the noise you hear when the ignition is turned on, before starting the engine, was the oil pump putting oil to the top end so it would have oil upon starting. I had to point out to this person that the noise is the freaking fuel pump charging the system, NOT the oil pump. They simply do not do that. This was the salesperson at a Harley dealership. Incidentally, the same dealership that did my 500 mile oil change, and installed the stage 1 stuff I ordered when I bought the bike. They were apparently unable to figure out how to successfully mount a pair of slip on mufflers, as 50 miles later, at home, the left muffler was only held on by the clamp. One hanger bolt was gone, the other not touching anything, and I'm lucky my brand new muffler didn't fall off on the freeway Bike never saw their shop again for ANYTHING. My experience with sales people os that the faster they talk, it usually means the less they actually know. That whole "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit" thing

I goofed too...never having seen the speedo display of a bike with RDRS, I assumed that pictogram was the same as the one on the handlebar switch. Clearly that's not the case.

Part of my reason for buying the 2020 RGL was available RDRS. I knew I would like having integrated TPMS and the hill assist (VHC) every time I ride. Some of the other benefits are not so readily apparent, but they're there nonetheless.

Hey Folks,

I just bought a 2020 Road Glide and did not realize my bike had hill assist. Of all the bikes I looked at the one I bought did not have the manuals with it. The sales guy really didn't go over too much, and it was information overload even if he did. I came off a 2003 R1150RT that I rode for 10 years, so I am new to very high tech options. Sure, my Beemer had linked ABS, but that was it. Riding home from the dealer (66 miles), with my wife on the back and the luggage loaded to the gills, I came to a steep uphill stop sign. I could've used the hill assist if I knew about it! Instead I made sure nothing was coming either way and rolled through it. After getting home I looked up the manual on H-D website. Too bad you can only print one section at a time of their site. Well, to my happy surprise, I tested the hill assist and voila, learned something new about my ride.

So, to the OP, I feel your pain! I haven't tried the cruise control yet, and hopefully don't have find out how the traction control works. I am still trying to figure out the stock 4.3 Boom radio buttons!
