Never wear my aids while riding. If I'm riding with friends they're as deaf as I am so it doesn't matter!

I’ve got over the ear type, both ears. I’ve tried a few times wearing them under the FF modular helmet. No go for me. Noise amplification is too much and lifting the helmet off feels like I’m going to ruin the earpiece wire as they do get pulled upwards a bit. My helmet has BT and only on the EG with the stock windscreen and helmet visor down can I hear well enough to converse. I just carry them in a small plastic pocket size container with two extra batteries and puttem in as needed. It’s just what it is.

My hearing not so good either,, This rig has app. hearing test and settings adjustable. bluetooth and a bit less expensive on ebay than through Olive. Worth a look over.

While this is true, mine have a 105db limit, so as not to give me an unsafe level of amplification, no matter the source.

I wear binaural BTEs and I have never found a FF or modular (even a 3/4 for that matter) that would accommodate my hearing aids. If/when I wear a FF, I take them off. When I wear my 1/2 helmet, I wear them, but turn them off, so I get the earplug effect from them and actually protect my residual hearing from wind noise. Of course, this means that I have to turn my radio up to "wake the dead" in order to hear it through my "hearing plugs". All my riding buddies have to like my music too, but at least it's a functional solution until I get to a stop light and the panhandlers begging for money don't like the Doobie Brothers.

I wear over-the-ear hearing aids too. I cannot get my FF helmet on without driving them through my skull. I ride without the hearing aids, but do use ear plugs. It's funny. My prior bike was all wind noise and could barely hear the exhaust. My RG has V&H slipons and has a nice low rumble that I hear over the wind noise. I'm just now getting used to the different sounds.

I wear over the ear, put them in a case when riding and carry them with me.
I put them on when I reach my destination.

Over the ear type for me. I wear a full face modular and have minor issues with them fitting in the helmet. There's an app on my phone that allows me to adjust the volume level. I just do that when on the bike. They also stream phone calls to the aids.
All thanks to the VA, (and jet engines).
Brand is 'Oticon'.

My over the ear type aids get turned off and put in a carrying pouch in my pocket. When I stop for longer that a fill up, I turn them on and put them in. Then when I get ready to go again, turn off, in the pouch and pocket and off I go.

I turn them off because if they are next to each other they can go into a feedback loop that can run down the batteries in a hurry.
