Ron I have a Garmin Zumo 660 that I used 8 years ago and has been sitting on a shelf since. You'll have to buy the back mount, $10. I would connect it to the accessory power by the head light connector and tuck the excess away. Also has a car mount with power point plug aka Cigarette lighter plug in.
Use it and see if you like that style GPS, if you decide you don't like it just send it back. If you decide you want it $200. I believe this is what you would need
I used a Ram mount for my phone for several years. I recently switched to a QuadLock with the vibration dempener and wireless charging. It's a lot quicker and easier getting the phone off and on and no cords to charge if needed. I usually use Google maps but have used CoPilot app when I know I won't be in cell service. You can set up your direction with way points and routes that you want to use on CoPilot then save them to pull up when you need them. It isn't as quick and simple as Google maps but since it has the maps saved on your phone it still works without service.
