i just replaced my battery in my 2016 ultra ltd , it now shows lo rng in the message center , does it need to be charged to removethe "lo rng" ? old batterry was over 4 yrs old , replaced with a interstate 500 amp

lo rng means you are low on gas (at least the bike thinks you are), it resets when you pull the battery. Take it for a short ride and it should clear itself after it recomputes.
