When my last batt was due for replacement I did lot of reading looking at going lithium. As I read more and more ,I came to the conclusion that they just weren't where I wanted them to be yet. Maybe in another 5 years. So went with a yuasa at this time. Main thing I don't like about lithium is how they just "die" with no warning. Next replacement I'll see if the technology on them has improved.
Get you a agm battery from batterymart, they have several to choose from. I've tried them all, they will give you good customer service if you need it after the sale also.
Just hit 2 years on my lithium, still cranks like a beast. I have not had any of the issues that have flooded the internet. Will be interesting to see how long it lasts.
If it's completely dead you might have to trick the internal circuitry in the battery to get it to take a charge.
Check the battery voltage with a volt meter. If it reads less than around 2V the internal circuitry has probably disabled the battery.
Connect a good battery to the lithium battery using booster cables and let it sit for a half hour to an hour. Use a volt meter to check and see if the lithium battery voltage has increased after this time. It should now have over 3V. If not does, connect your charger and it should start charging. Leave the charger on for as long as it takes to get a full charge and then retest the battery.
You might have to try this more than once to get enough charge into the battery to wake it up.
I save a $2K Porsche battery using this method.
Thanks for the recommendation. I just ordered Battery Mart's Platinum GYZ32HL AGM Maintenance Free Powersports Battery.
It's 500 CCA, 32 Ah, 12 volt - which should get my 2015 Ultra Ltd started faster than the old (4+ years) 1st Gen Harley Lithium Ion battery I have now.

Can anyone tell/recommend the best battery for my Street Glide? Last year, I splurged and purchased Harley's Lithium battery. I purchased their largest 8h, for $299. What a mistake, 15 months later completely dead. I mean dead, absolutely nothing out of it. I called Harley, and was disappointed a battery that cost twice the amount of their AGM battery only came with a 1 year warranty. Harley also stated they discontinued that battery, and if I want another one, I have to purchase the upgrade. I asked them being only 15 months old, the price I paid, and their discontinuing because it was a failure if they can give me some type of break. I should've know better, Harley only wants your $$$. The best I got was Sorry, but you have to pay full price for the other. I won't be buying another Lithium battery until Harley starts making them standard production on the new bikes.
Well, does any one know what's the best battery out there? Not looking for price, but an outstanding high CC amps, and a big reserve. With a good sound system, I need a battery that won't drain quick.
@Harley0558 Did you ever figure out what you're replacing the battery with?
