I have an 08 RK, I just happen to look and find a batwing on Facebook market dirt cheap, had the original LARGE clear OEM shield which was too tall and messing with my line of sight. The issue was it has 5 bolts and I couldnt find find any used or cheap windshields on line that had 5 bolts and were shorter. The ones I found were 75$ and up. So this weekend I went to a local huge harley bike swap meet and I scored 2 OEM smoked windshields for $2.00. I said what the hell why not make it fit. What do you all think?

The original short windshield on my Street Glide looked cool, but it sucked at doing what a windshield is supposed to do...so I installed a taller one.

Function over form, always.
The original tall clear windshield was directly in my eye view that's why I went with a medium style windshield.
I have been known to cut down windshields to get the height I want. Simple process....tape off both sides of the area you'd like to remove, draw your preferred line on the tape. Cut with a fine tooth coping saw, light file to even the cut marks, then some sandpaper to smooth the cut surface. And clean with IPA.
But you found something for you, that's good!!!
The short one looks the best, but at the risk of buffeting. The second one looks okay, but if it doesn't buffet, it's the way I'd go. The tall one in your line of sight could be trimmed, but I like the smoked shields you got.
