Hey @Ken45 , have you ever stopped into Dream Rides there in Maryville on the 411? Couple of buddies of mine opened it up a few years ago and are kickin butt! They don't sell new bikes, just lots of NICE used ones and build some real nice trophy winners there too. Swing in and say hey!
I have seen the place on line and even called them, not very far from me. I have been meaning to stop in, they are having a sale on riding jackets. Been kind of busy lately and I actually live just off from 411 N.

Definitely stop in!! Totally great crew there! John owns the place as well as the one out here in Modesto, CA. My good buddy Paul, who lived here in my town, moved out there to run the Service Department there after getting tired of working at HD Dealerships. Gets to do a bunch of custom stuff now. The wife and I have ridden out there a few times now and are due for another trip that way next year maybe. Tell them MJ from Oakhurst sent ya.........
I have seen some of the same bikes sitting there for months. Dealers that I talked to, even a thousand mile away are still calling me even though I told them I already bought one. Anyways, I guess that we will see if there is a Road King standard available in 2023 or not.
I made that mistake in AZ. I live in TX. I was out there for several weeks which is only reason I gave my number. Big mistake. Dude called me for months literally
Everything is selling like hotcakes. Road Glides are being purchased for trophy value at this point.
If they tell you you have to order it, its because the dealership is ordering all Specials. A bike on the floor, no matter what the price, will sell better than one you have to order sight unseen.
20 years ago, Roadglides were the ugliest bikes harley ever made. Then it was the, "the headlights don't turn with the handlebars" idiotic mentality. Now they're selling faster than batwing bikes.
I was talking with Moon Shine Harley Davidson earlier today and Estevan told me the same thing about the Road King. Also said they are getting rid of 3 other models also. He said that I could get a police model that would be similar though.

Harley has to deal with the fickled buying public. We always want something different. Before the Road Glide, the hot one was the Street Glide which took over for the Road King and before that, the Fatboy.

I was told by one of the sales person that the technique it is called polite persistence LOL I saw on you tube that Ride Like a Pro instructor, Jerry Palladino, was saying that HD is headed for a slow down. Time will tell.

My local stealer texted me this morning that they are offering 1,000-1,500 off all new bikes for the Holidays. I am waiting for the 2500-3500 off for Valentines day
