Just got a pc3usb and i need a good map for a 05 ultra,se ac and se mufflers and stage 1 download.

 

Have you gone to the Dynojet website and looked thru the list there?

I'm sure there is a map there for that setup, and most of their maps are pretty good.

If not just give them a call and they'll give ya the right ones...

 

I've never had any luck with their maps. I even requested a map from them for the setup I run and it was no where as good as the one I had been running.
I do believe they have a map on their website for the combination si6 is running...you'd think it ought to be pretty close to the one I should run but they sent me a different one again.

807-005 looks like it will work out for you since there isn't one specific for an '05.

They didnt have my exact setup on thier site, so I called and they told me which one to download. Said it would be perfect and it is. They even discouraged me from getting a dyno done because the map on thier site is all I would need.

And correct me if I am wrong here, but you say you have the stage one download, that wont matter when you bypass with the power commander.

 

You don't bypass anything with the PCIIIusb, it is an add-on unit that modifies the stock ecm. There are different maps for a stock ecm, stage 1 ecm, and stage 2 ecm...........each one adds different fuel amounts since the different stage upgrades adds more fuel on their own.

I was under the impression (incorrectly so it seems) that the pc3 was a replacement and the stock computer is completely bypassed.

 

The PCIII goes inline with the ECM and basically fools the bike.

 

No, it works just like this post. It makes corrections to the information after it's been put out for use. The Delphi ECU says, with this engine speed, throttle position, and intake pressure (and engine temperature, etc.), "spark on front cylinder NOW", "spray fuel in rear cylinder NOW for THIS long", etc. The PC-III takes that and modifies it as per its programming before actually sending the commands to the components.

It's not "fooling" anything.
