I found on the TunderMax site where it says it does not need dyno tuned. Do the Dynojet tuners (and other brands) need periodic dyno tunes?
No.

As already mentioned in your other thread, the dyno tune is just "fine tuning" of the canned tune.

As long as you don't change any significant hard parts, you won't have to do it again.

You can get by with the canned tune, but if you want to optimize the fuel mileage, and performance, that is what is accomplished by a competent dyno-tuner

But again, I'll decide.
I just put $700 out for my own PV, but whatever dude! you asked, it's just hilarious you are willing to drop all that coin on a 124, and cheap out on a **** tuner, but you decide...

[QUOTE=NorthWestern;21102980]No.

I've been looking at a lot of things and somewhere I think someone had said something about needing to re-dyno every now & then. Without going back and rereading every post/comment it's hard to remember everything sometimes.

Thanks.

I asked for useful info. None of which you offered. And you are obviously more than clueless about my or anybody else's situations. Either that or else I just didn't realize that you knew everything about my life. I don't really care what you spend on anything but you spend that much on a tuner and cheap out on a sh*t brain.

Look in a mirror lately? No, you did not say that. You just blurted out a feelings based opinion w/o any reasons why and pretty much insulted me without knowing anything about me. Yep - I wanted my engine to have sudden and catastrophic failure so that I could buy a 124. What a DA...

The Harley tuner is only intended to be used on a EPA complaint HD build not the engine you intend to be installed , i used the SEPT tuner for it’s intended use then upgraded to a PV it’s a better tuner

Thanks. That's what I've been coming up with in looking at other things along with what you guys have been saying here. I am merely weighing all options and it's not really possible to effectively do that when you haven't learned much about them yet. Some guys know all about them - good for them. Some of them act like everybody in the world should automatically know it also. POOF! Just like magic. I have never doubted or said otherwise that other brands are better than the SE but if I already have something that might adequately work until I get a financial breather to get something else, then I have to examine that possibility. That must be a difficult concept for some guys here to grasp. Good grief (not directed at you) - just because I'm considering something that I haven't learned much about yet seems to put some guys over the edge. They should get a life.
