Default SE Pro Street tuner on a S&S 124?

OK - not trying to make anyone's head explode LOL, but as I dig into more of this tuner stuff I'm coming up with more questions and I can't always readily or lengthily find the answer. I figured I'd ask this on a new thread - the other was getting long. Here's the question for whoever may know:

Can my SE Pro Street tuner which was used on my now destroyed 107 M8 stage 2 be used for my new S&S 124? Can it adjust for the different parameters. If nothing else I'll ask a Harley service guy but I've gotta wait a couple of days when they are open again. I know I may be way off base with this but can't leave that stone unturned.

Harley does not have an EPA 124 ci tune for the SEPST

As mentioned, get a Powervision, and you can make it run perfectly with a great dyno tune.

I thought that might be the case but at the same time I'm trying to examine all possible options and especially for something which I already have that might work. Yeah I know about the dyno stuff now but there's always multiple things which work just fine no matter what subject you're dealing with. It's just a matter of figuring it out.

This is not one of those things. Tuning on engines with the variable of parts is something you cannot "get by" on, if you want it to run correctly, and get the best fuel mileage.

It's clear by these threads that you are not getting the answer that you want, but I really am telling you the truth, having already WASTED the money on SESPT, Smart Tune, etc. etc., until I finally listened to the folks here, and did it correctly.

I then rode the bike all the way to Wisconsin on a canned tune, and had it dyno tuned at FM.

Best thing I ever did.

I wish you luck, sir.

Why would you put EPA compliant tuner on your 124? Go after market,

I appreciate all the input and it's really not a matter of not getting the answer I want, it's a matter of learning, understanding, examining and weighing out all options. My reasons why are not the question here - I only want to know the facts of what can or cannot be done and I'll decide what I want to do. Not anyone else.

Funny - people say "Do your research" but when you do, they ask why lol.

Other people's money is obviously no object for you.

But again, I'll decide.

From what you guys have said and other things I've read online, I'd say the SE is not an option at all.

I found on the TunderMax site where it says it does not need dyno tuned. Do the Dynojet tuners (and other brands) need periodic dyno tunes?
