Chris, glad you're still able to tell us about it and sounds like you've got a good positive attitude... as you should, you know more than any of us how bad it could have been.

It does sound like a freak accident, but you made it through okay and thankfully your wife wasn't on the back

The tire looked inflated in the soft dirt. It wasn't flat. On the paved road it was more apparent. The tire was cut. I'm not there to verify this, but that's what was reported to me when it was being loaded. It was losing air fast, not a blow out.

wow, quite a harrowing tale. glad that things turned out as well as they did. be sure to follow the doc's instructions on your rehab, you don't want this to come back and haunt you later in life.

Godspeed on your recovery. Glad you came out of it without critical injuries. Awesome that you have a great support system, that makes a huge difference in healing.
