On the table, it says "All except FLHXS" for standard shocks. Does that mean, it does not apply to my bike? If not, then what measurament would apply?
If you set it 3/8 - 7/16 you have both options covered.

Well, I got it all done. I will probably just drop my bike off next time. Not sure if my time was worth it doing all this. Granted, I learned, but sometimes, I rather pay someone to do dirty work. I got little messy with the anti-seize stuff. It got all over the damn place. Manual was worthless when I was trying to figure out which side the washer goes on and the order of ABS sensor install. That was not included in my Service Manual. I wish they had better detailed pictures. But worry nothing... YouTube to the rescue. I found awesome video of a guy doing the whole thing. Once I watched it, it was clear how to install the ABS and bracket back on.

Front was easy, but again, I had to refer to YouTube. So much better. The only thing I used manual for was torque specs.

Got it all installed. Need to wash myself off this anti seize and the bike too.

All in all, I saved over 200 bucks, rolling on the ground, wrestling with the rear wheel and bitching and moaning lol. I am sure if I had the right lift, this would be a lot easier. I had to install the belt drive with the wheel inside the fender, because just like it wouldn't come out with belt drive on, it wouldn't go back in either.

Thanks for all your suggestions and advice! I wish I could go riding today to test it out. I have to say, those Dunlop AEs look sweet!

I checked my 07 touring manual, which has the cam, not sure if same as rushmore. It said on the ground or in the air, same spec. But it had different deflection for FLHX.

I never said not to check the tension. But marking it will get you in the ball park quick. And as I said, mine go back in the same spot, after checking.

You know you have done a thorough job if both your thighs feel like they've been stabbed with Ginsu knives.

I am discussing belt deflection. Have you considered we waste more dumb posts interacting with each other?

Still waiting for you to man up and admit you were wrong. Until then I really don't care what you say. Especially when you have nothing to add to the topic.

So, I put the back wheel in, got the rod through, and then I was trying to figure out how to get the ABS sensor in. I started to watch this YT video and guy puts the cushion drive thing in and says “Make sure you put it in correctly, it can go in differently too, so make sure it’s on like this”.

Here I am thinking “****! did I put it back correctly?” So I decided to take the wheel back off just to check it lol.

It was installed correctly, but bye then, I had anti seize all over the place.
