I've used HD stuff and Custom Dynamics with great success. I've tried the Amazon stuff and it worked great for a few months. Not worth the time or money.
The one time I had an issue with CD they replaced the parts, no questions asked. When I tore into everything, I realized it was my own fault. They still took care of me. I'll put their kids through college, but I won't buy anywhere else.l in the near future.
I installed a Sunpie 7" headlight and the passing lights 4.5" that go with the headlight as a combo. I am quite happy with them; good fitment, plug and play and no splicing on my 2012 Flhtk Ultra Limited. I know many here like to bash the stuff off amazon and yes rightly so as there can be a lot of junk that doesn't last 5 days let alone 5 years. I ordered directly from Supie and avoided shipping, ,customs or brokerage fees. For the rear and front turn signals I decided to go with the Harley Led replacements because there is no need for a " load distribution balancer or equilizer ". As many others here have stated, the Custom Dynamics products are incredible in quality and construction and customer service also is great. Good luck in choosing .....
Being cheap and unwilling to spend a ton of $$ on a simple, plug & play LED solution, I initially refused to buy the Custom Dynamics LED's; they were simply too expensive.
Over the past 5 years, Ive tried every cheap LED turn signal option that I could find, only to be let down by every possible failure mode.
Not until after I swapped dual-circuit 1157 front housings to the rear, (to give me both turn & brake light functions from behind the same lens) did I finally learn my lesson and just buy the Custom Dynamics lights.
For the front, I have clear/amber LEDs that work as expected without fail for nearly 2 years.
On the rear (tri-bar) I have an older version of Custom Dynamics modules that allow for red running lights, red brake lights, and amber turn signals all from the single LED units.
These units do require custom wiring (to account for the 3rd circuit), even though I had previously upgraded the housings to front versions with1157 sockets.
For the headlight and spots, I use and advocate for Sunpie, as they are the absolute best value in LED lighting options for your bike.
What LED lights do you recommend for front and back of 2007 EG Ultra Classic? Thanks
One of the craziest benefits of my choice to go 100% Custom Dynamics on my '08 Ultra turned out to be the Amber Front and Red Back fendertip lights. They're inexpensive and wickedly bright for how small they are.
Got mine from Superbright leds. A non canbus system will need some load added to flash correctly, I'm one of those that refuses to give a company $200+ for $20 worth of parts
