I cut open small O-ring and placed it on the shock shaft. Sat on bike and measured, did same with wife. Seems each full turn (360 deg) compensate for about 25lbs of weight so took 5 full turns to adjust for extra 125 lbs. Took the bike for a little rip and this is hell of the positive difference now.
What is cool about this open oring method is that I left it during the ride and are able to see if I am bottoming out and adjust it as needed. Oring is open so wont damage anything even if I bottom out as it would simply open and potentially fell off and this way it helps verify shock travel after ride. I would be worry that zip tie could cause issues so I feel oring is better method and allow checking full shock movement range.
I feel like I am sitting on pillows in my ride now.
